 I
grew up on a farm/ranch operation in Western North Dakota
and have
always had a love for horses. I began riding when I was three
years old. My
parents couldn’t keep me off a horse. My first
horse was a pony named “Surprise” and that name was perfect for her.
I
won numerous prizes, buckles, and trophies throughout my years.
Then
it was time for high school rodeo. Cruiser was my own
personal
investment. He was a 17.1 hand Quarter Horse / Thoroughbred
that had a
heart of gold. I qualified for state high school finals all
four years
on him in the barrel racing and pole bending. We qualified
for the
National High School Finals Rodeo from 1991 to 1993.
I was the State Reserve
Pole Bending Champion in 1993 and Reserve All-Around Champion in 1993.
In 1992, I was the State Champion Goat Tyer.
We
are now living in Sheridan, Wyoming with the beautiful Bighorn
Mountains. I am currently training horses that will
consistently
strive
to compete and win in the rodeo arena and also jackpots. I
believe
all horses know their purpose in the arena, it is just getting them to
understand the basics. I strive to keep my horses calm
outside
the
arena as well as inside the arena. The young horses are
brought
along
slow and know the basics before they are even shown the barrels.
My
goal is to have a finished barrel horse that has a good mind on
him.
I am involved in the WPRA, NWBRA,
Sheridan County Cowgirls, and the NBHA. I am looking for a
break out
year in the professional rodeo arena now that my horse is healthy.
“Iva
Lotta Class,” aka Jordan, is my main horse that is coming back from a
near career ending injury.
 I am also busy with
my family. My husband Todd, who is a feed nutritionist, lets
me know
what I should feed. We really like the CHS Running Horse Cut
N Slide.
It is a great feed for all horses. I also use Platinum
Performance
Supplements. We have a three year old daughter, Abagail, who
is
starting to ride her horse "Ole" this year.

- Trained and sold “DK Premonition” to a lady in Wyoming. 1D placings at the futurities during the year.
